Adult Psychological Testing

Dr. Benko offers assessments to provide clients and providers with diagnostic clarity. This may include assessing for ADHD, mood disorders, trauma disorders, and personality disorders. He also offers intellectual assessment. 

Evaluations are a helpful clinical tool for unanswered or lingering questions. If you or your provider feels confused about your treatment, evaluations can help provide data to better inform diagnoses and treatment recommendations. Evaluations can help you to better understand yourself and help you gain more context for your experiences. Dr. Benko maintains a trauma-informed lens, considering all aspects of your history.

Dr. Benko is currently accepting folks to his waitlist for May 2025. He offers assessment appointments on Saturdays (though requests can be made for alternative times).


Please note: Dr. Benko does NOT provide neuropsychological assessment or court-ordered evaluations.


 

Getting to Know Dr. Benko

As a psychologist, Dr. Benko is trained to administer and interpret psychological tests. With over seven years of independent assessment experience Dr. Benko has provided psychological assessment in both inpatient and outpatient settings to children and adults, assessing for mood disorders, trauma, intellectual functioning, ADHD, and personality disorders.

Providing individualized testing based on your unique needs, Dr. Benko offers a warm environment. He strives to provide a thorough and comprehensive evaluation, taking into account individual and cultural factors. He believes the purpose of an evaluation is to help provide a holistic and informed understanding of you and your experiences.

Dr. Benko believes that while it is his role to offer a professional opinion about your mental health concerns through thorough assessment, you remain the expert on your life and he remains open to alternative interpretations.

 

Price Transparency

Evaluation are offered at a flat rate of $3,500. This rate may change depending on the needs of assessment. Dr. Benko does NOT accept insurance. Please be advised that out-of-network reimbursement for assessment is unlikely with most insurance plans.

The flat rate covers:

  • An intake session, in which a detailed interview is completed.

  • Testing session(s) to complete assessment.

  • A feedback session to review your report and answer any questions.
